Stareway to Heaven
A drizzle,
Under a metallic roof.
Surrounded by,
leaves dancing to an unadulterated tune
Real ones!
Cool breeze…literally
Not contaminated by globules of global fetish
bulbs…too far away.
What else does one need?
While you’re there
Just while you stare
you are not,
A desiring clockwork.
Needs Of Life
After you finish a piece of writing,
You take a deep breathe, lean on your chair,
put your hands behind your head and
stare upwards:
You have achieved your quota of relaxation for the day!
You then rotate your rotating chair,
and look around — as you are not used to feeling good.
At that point, the creaking door diverts you:
It’s your wife. She is back.
She sits on your laps and hugs you and you hug her
and you feel happy.
A good diversion!
And then they divert you:
Those thoughts and feelings that appear like shadows,
the ones that frighten and confuse you.
You then take a deep breath, smell and ward them off
but they leave their mark.
A bad diversion!
A day passes and another is already here
You wanna keep relaxing. You wanna keep being happy.
You wanna keep avoiding them.
To achieve all that,
things should be in a certain way
but they are not entirely in your control:
You have to both keep moving and keep being loved.
